In 2009 Peter co-founded Creativity & the Spiritual Path (CSP) - an ongoing series of events designed to connect and cultivate creativity among Muslim designers, artists, directors, writers, thinkers and creative types. On May 1st Peter hosted the 5th CSP event at the University of Melbourne, Australia, 2011. Over 150 people gathered at sell-out capacity to learn, share and connect. Peter has previously run CSP events in San Francisco, Sydney and Toronto.While in Melbourne Peter also presented his artwork at the launch of the forthcoming Islamic Museum of Australia to Government delegates from Australian and the Arab world. The Museum intends to enhance the spirit of community in multicultural Melbourne and open a much needed window into Australian Muslim life showcasing local artists, heritage and Australian Muslim history.
